Chris talks with first generation farmer Mark Schaffer from Norwalk, Ohio. After high school Mark started an excavation business with a backhoe and a dump truck in 1977. Today the excavation business employees over 80 people and is run by Mark's son. During that time Mark simultaneously built his farm operation from the ground up and farms around 6000 acres of soybeans, wheat and intercrop soy and wheat with his daughter. Vision, dedication, hard work, giving back to the community and his faith in God has yielded his success.
