Color Psychology tells us how different colors can affect our mood in a positive or negative manner. This is mostly due to our associations of colors with everyday objects. A rule of thumb is to think about where does a certain color occurs in nature, what cultural significance does it hold and what is our natural reaction to that. For example: white color is often seen as a symbol of purity and cleanliness, it is also the color that, in some cultures, people wear on funerals. This makes white good, but only in moderation, any more than that conveys the message of sterility, impotence, sadness, and similar dull emotional states.
