This week on science hear all about a recent discovery in China of an incredibly old fossil site. The fossils date back 518 million years ago to the Cambrian era, and a time when life literally exploded onto this planet. These fossils contain 53 new species and a detailed look at the beginnings of life on this planet.
Then, the National Space Council met to discuss the government's plans, along with NASA, to return to the moon. The previous target date for putting human beings back on the lunar surface was 2028, but vice president Mike Pence, NASA administrator Jim Bridenstine, and the rest of the panel agreed on a sped-up timeline of 2024.
