Episode 30: On the Road at Marlins Park/Turner Field and No hitters
No guest this week as Anthony and Muneesh conclude their season long journey to check off the final parks on Anthony's 30-stadium list. This is it folks. Anthony has now seen all 30 parks. Today's episode is brought to you from Marlins Park in Miami and Turner Field in Atlanta.
2:16 In 2013, Florida Marlins pitcher Henderson Alvarez threw his first no-hitter. Muneesh was in attendance for this historic game.
3:36 On July 25th, 2015, Phillies pitcher Cole Hamels pitched a no-hitter at Wrigley Field against Anthony's beloved Cubs. It was the first time the Cubs had been no-hit since September 9th, 1965. The pitcher on the mound that day was Hall of Famer Sandy Koufax who tossed a perfect game.
8:07 In 2007, Tigers Pitcher Justin Verlander threw his first no-hitter. Muneesh had tickets and did not go to the game. Boo Muneesh.
24:30 Randy Johnson's perfect game against the Atlanta Braves.
28:20 Muneesh has a 2016 Baseball Stadium Wall Calendar for sale. It makes the perfect gift! You can order it here! Make sure you send in your trivia questions to clubhousepocast@gmail.com or on Twitter @ClubhousePod and you may win a signed copy of the calendar!
