HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BE, IT'S OUR 6th BIRTHDAY TODAY!! And what a better time to talk about physical wellness -- when we should be celebrating with cake. :) We admit, when it comes to physical health, IT'S HARD. But maintaining physical wellness is so vital -- not for a size, or a weight, or to simply look cute -- but for maintaining the stamina, energy, and clear-mindedness needed for kingdom work! You can't pursue your calling with passion if your body is sluggish and your mind perpetually foggy. And food and movement play big roles in that. Consider this (incredibly convicting) quote we discuss from Charles Spurgeon: “Your body was a willing horse when it was in the service of the devil, let it not be a sluggish hack now that it draws the chariot of Christ.” #ouch Tune in to hear what we discovered and some tips on how to successfully maintain physical wellness!
BE IN THE WORD:
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

1. Start as you mean to go on. What are practices and disciplines you can implement that are sustainable for the long haul?
2. Find what works for you. The plan your friend is on may not be the one that works best for you. Your body responds to food and exercise uniquely different -- honor that and investigate what your body responds to.
