Over the past six years, Bassem Youssef went from being a cardiothoracic surgeon who helped protesters during the 2011 Egyptian Revolution to becoming Egypt's most popular political satirist and TV host. After being exiled from Egypt, Bassem moved to America, where he has continued to produce television and practice medicine.
