With it being USC vs. Notre Dame week we felt it was appropriate to bring back a former Trojan football player who played a very prominent roll in this rivalry. In the mid-1990's USC was riding a 13-game winless streak against Notre Dame (12 losses, 1 tie) but the Trojans were finally able to get a W in 1996. Running back Delon Washington scored the game tying touchdown and two-point conversion and USC eventually won the game 27-20 in overtime. We talked to the former Trojan tailback about his time at USC, his experience in that game and what this rivalry means to him.
