From financial mess to thrift queen: How one woman turned finances around

Newstalk ZB’s own Frances Cook had the realisation 3-4 years ago that she didn't want to keep living pay day to pay day, and always feeling anxious about money.
That lead to her creating a personal finance podcast to help out the average person with money... and helped herself at the same time!
She’s now distilled all of that knowledge down into her new book ‘Tales from a financial hot mess, combining her personal experience with fresh interviews with some of the best money experts in NZ, covering off all the things the average person should be doing to feel secure in their money situation.
She joined Simon and Phil to discuss the big light bulb moments she had in her financial journey.
