"...late one night, laying in his bed, surrounded by that strange oppressive feeling... a new source of fear emerged from the darkness..."
A quote from today's second tale. Our first story offers a further explanation of one of the items in our studio - a Dybbuk box. I'll explain the historical basis for this box and I’ll also share a modern tale involving this ancient monster trapper. Our second story involves a young boy who witnessed the terrible death of a stranger, and then appears to have been either haunted by the angry spirit of that unfortunate man or by some other dark entity that preyed on his memory of that gruesome death in order to inflict further psychological harm. Hope both tales leave you Scared to Death!

Opening Sumerian protection spell (adapted at the end to fit the podcast):
"Whether thou art a ghost that hath come from the earth, or a phantom of night that hath no home… or one that lieth dead in the desert… or a ghost unburied… or a demon or a ghoul… Whatever thou be until thou art removed… thou shalt find here no water to drink… Thou shalt not stretch forth thy hand to our own… Into our house enter thou not. Through our fence, breakthrough thou not… we are protected though we may be frightened. Our life you may not steal, though we may feel SCARED TO DEATH.”
