The All Things Overlanding Podcast
Society & Culture:Places & Travel
S1E20-Cold Weather Camping (Winter Camping, Cold Weather Gear, Benefits, Downsides, Overlanding)
APOLOGIES FOR THE SOUND QUALITY-The wind wouldn't stop blowing and I should have used a lapel mic instead of a shotgun mic. This was a spur of the moment trip and I wasn't prepared, :D. Learn from my mistakes! Always go prepared (maybe not to record a podcast, but to Overland for sure). Thanks for checking it out any ways.
On today's Vlog/Podcast, I'm going to switch things up after last week's "least favorite" camping weather (rain). Instead, I'm going to talk about the weather I prefer most: cold weather.
I'm talking through the benefits of cold weather camping, the downsides to cold weather camping, and then what gear you'll need to make it a good time.
Most importantly, what are your thoughts? Have you had good experiences camping in cold weather? Do you have some "impossible to live without" piece of winter gear? Post up in the comments below to let me know what you guys think. Thanks!
