What Happened When takes you back to June 14, 1989 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The temperature in the building was incredibly hot and the wrestling...well...got slower and slower as the searing heat baked the participants and crowd. Many left before the end of the show and missed a pretty good bout between Ricky Steamboat and Terry Funk. It was kind of a shitty finish, but still a good match. But the crowd, made up of mostly military, was hot for the Freebirds, the Midnight Express, Sting and the Ding Dongs. Yes, the DING DONGS! It's time for Guts and Glory and back to the year 1989 and WCW!
