Education:Self-Improvement
This week, Misty and Lisa review the New York Times Bestseller and International bestseller You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay.
You Can Heal Your Life is a new thought book published by Louise L. Hay in 1984. After Hay appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show and Donahue in the same week in March 1988, the book appeared on the New York Times Best Seller list, and by 2008 over 35 million copies worldwide had been sold in over 30 languages. The book was also instrumental in the success of her publishing company, Hay House Inc. Today, due to the book she is "one of the best-selling authors in history", and one of largest selling women authors, after J. K. Rowling, Danielle Steel and Barbara Cartland.
Misty and Lisa cover each of the four parts of the book in this Heal Your Life book review:
Part I – Introduction (her philosophy and beliefs)
Part II – A session with Louise (diagnosing the problem, change and transformation)
Part III – Putting These Ideas To Work (how this process plays out in different areas of our life: work, relationships, health, etc.)
Part IV – Conclusion (her story)
