Terence begins by telling us that he was “a very weird kid” and that his behavior must have alarmed his parents. From there he describes his youth as that of being bullied constantly. His solution to this problem was unique McKenna, he said that he held the bullies at bay by telling stories and becoming the court jester, which answers a lot of questions about the path that his life eventually took. In a rap about the wonders of cannabis he calls the plant “the pilot light of Gian consciousness.” And while discussing the potential dangers of using psychoactive substances, (his answer being the title to this podcast) he goes on to say, “If you're truly psychedelic, the difference between living and dying is quite immaterial. No pun intended.”
