Today we pick up on the next session of A Weekend With Terence McKenna that was held in February of 1992. As usual with a McKenna workshop, a wide variety of topics are touched on in a relatively short time. For example, he discusses the difference between the Gian hypothesis and the concept that the Earth is not just alive but that it is a minded intelligence as well. He asks the question: “If it's peculiar for a planet to have a mind, is it any less peculiar for a monkey to have a mind?” To cap it off he gives us a delightful little metaphor comparing the manufacture of LSD with the invention of agriculture and then goes on to reveal the secret agenda behind government attempts to eliminate all cannabis use.
