Rumors, Hearsay, And Half-truths

When the Israelites had settled the Promised Land a rumor started circulating that some of the Israelites were engaging in false worship. Hearsay nearly led to a civil war! Have you ever heard something and jumped to conclusions without knowing all the facts? Sure. We all have. But this story is a good reminder to us that we have a duty and obligation to "believe the best until we know the rest."
