In John 17 we read about one of the last prayers Yeshua prayed, and He prayed not only for His disciples, but for us also. To begin the prayer, Yeshua prayed to be glorified/esteemed or honored so that His Father would also be honored. This should be a model for all who are Yeshua’s disciple, that we should seek honor only so that our Father would receive honor by the way we think, talk and act.
