With the White House vowing to roll back government regulation of all sorts of industries, we take a look at how things can go terribly wrong when deregulation trumps worker and food safety. The U.S. poultry industry has been lobbying the Trump administration to allow for faster speeds for the processing of chicken, something the Obama administration’s agriculture department felt was needed to limit injuries to workers and the chances of food contamination.
