Credit, catastrophe & data - Natalie Botha

Natalie is the Head of Systems & Data Analytics at Marsh JLT Specialty. Natalie’s journey in insurance started 15 years ago working in exposure management. She worked for various Lloyd’s syndicates looking after their data. Following this, she started working for a Lloyds based syndicate where she further developed her data and analytical skills. Her main focus there was looking at man-made risks, especially terrorism. After this, she moved into broking when she was offered a job at Marsh JLT Specialty where she now works. In this role she’s responsible for catastrophe modeling. She is now the Head of Data and Analytics team with a particular focus on credit.
