The Dangers of Political Correctness, Cancel Culture, and “Wokeness” | ZUBY
Political correctness, cancel culture, and “wokeness” is destroying our ability to have important discussions about some of our most complex problems. Ironically, the people that continually engage in this behavior say they’re trying to help but end up doing the exact opposite.
That’s why I stoked to introduce you to my guest today, Zuby, to talk about these current issues and so much more. We discuss why people have such a difficult time engaging in intellectual dialogue, breaking the mold of people’s expectations, the future of humanity – both good and bad and why the “woke” are destroying civil and critical discourse.
SHOW HIGHLIGHTS
Fitting into a mold Being multi-dimensional Diluting the power of words Uniting people A healthy dose of skepticism Humble expectations Personal responsibility Victimhood mentality Billionaire bashing Resentment & envy The zero-sum mindset Correcting our behavior Creating your own morality A code of conduct Battling over ideologyZUBY
My guest today is unlike any other. His name is Zuby and he is a rapper, podcast host, public speaker, and entrepreneur and graduate from Oxford University.
I started following him several months ago when I saw a video of him destroying the British Women’s deadlifting record in an attempt to bring some logic to the discussion that men and women are biologically different.
He’s a man who is unafraid to share the way that he views the world and has been dubbed extremely controversial even though, he’s really not at all (we discuss this in the conversation).
Gentlemen, please enjoy my fascinating discussion with the one and only Zuby.
IRON COUNCIL
Gents, by now you’ve heard all about the Iron Council. Many of you have banded with us. Many of you aren’t interested at all. And, many of you are on the fence about joining.
If you are on the fence, I understand. When I started down this path to fixing myself, it was hard for me to acknowledge that having a little help, instruction, and direction on the path was worthwhile.
I thought I could figure it all out on my own. And, maybe I could. But at what expense? Time and effort. That’s what it would have cost me. By banding with and learning from men who were further down the path than I was, I was able to accelerate the learning process and, therefore the results.
I became a more connected husband, a more engaged father, a more successful businessman and more fulfilled in my life. And, if you’re looking to do the same in your life, band with us – the 500+ who are on the same path and know how to help you get from here to there.
Join our exclusive brotherhood, the Iron Council.
