The Steelers find themselves in almost the same situation that they occupied at this time in 2018.. An eight-win team needed to win game 16 while getting help from another team to squeak into the playoffs as a wild card.

Pittsburgh can secure a playoff berth with:

1. PIT win + TEN loss or tie OR

2. PIT tie + TEN loss OR

3. TEN loss + IND win + OAK loss or tie OR

4. TEN loss + IND win + PIT ties OAK in strength-of-victory tiebreaker

The Titans face the Texans in a rematch that saw Houston beat Tennessee 24-21 two weeks ago.

This weekend we face the Baltimore Ravens who have already clinched the lead AFC playoff position.   The Steelers took the Ravens to overtime in their first contest, losing 26-23.

The Ravens are resting several starters including QB Lamar Jackson, RB Mark Ingram, G Marshal Yanda, S Earl Thomas and DL Brandon Williams. Robert Griffin III will stand in for Jackson.

While we have confidence in this defense - the Steelers sacked Jackson 5 times and intercepted him 3 times in the first game - the question is: HOW ARE WE GOING TO SCORE?!

Duck Hodges will have to pull everything together in this game, especially since he will be without James Conner.  He’s got to nail some passes to prevent Baltimore from loading the box and stifling our running attack.
