#74 Ayahuasca and Spirituality in Recovery from Eating Disorders, Trauma, Drug & Alcohol Addiction and Autoimmune Diseases with Jane Mayer @janeislistening

In this episode, I interview one of my mentors and spiritual teachers, Jane Mayer. She struggled with an eating disorder, drug and alcohol addiction, and autoimmune disease.

Her recovery process included several healing modalities but we focus on her work with plant medicine like ayahuasca and her connection to Spirit (or The Universe/God etc.). She opens up about her childhood trauma, and how her body has become her greatest teacher through it all.

This is a fascinating interview and I hope you love it as much as I do!

In the episode, Jane references a study on Ancestral Trauma in mice. She let me know after the interview that she misspoke and wanted to make the correction. She said the mice experienced the trauma for seven generations, the study confirms 2 years. Fascinating no less! Here is a link to read for yourself
