This is the MONTH of Body Love, and we are kicking it off with an in-depth discussion on self-talk.
We all have "noise" in our heads that we aren't necessarily aware of, and yet it influences every aspect of our lives.
In this episode, we share some personal experiences of gaining awareness of these "players," how to use curiosity and compassion to move through self-doubt, and some ways to reinforce the belief that you matter.
Four ways to practice the belief that you matter:
1. Prayer (ask to see yourself the way Divinity sees you)
2. Practice being courageous (This can be small things like initiating a conversation or waving to someone; this becomes easier when you believe that failure doesn't influence your value.)
3. Give yourself permission to "own" what you want or who you want to be (this may sound simple, however we often hold ourselves back because of fear of judgement)
4. "Phone a Friend" - find outside sources that can remind and reinforce the belief that you matter (might be notes or talks or messages or an actual phone call to a friend)
