Suffering for the Gospel(Matt 5:10-12)

This Lord's Day, we are going to explore God's Word about the subject of suffering for the cause of the Gospel. God calls us out of darkness and into His light. He then empowers us to live lives of obedience and delight in Him. The great joy we have set before us is to know God and to make Him known. I want to emphasize that: Joy. However, as we get on our beautiful feet to proclaim the Good News to the world we will inevitably be confronted with difficulty, persecution, and at times very serious suffering.
