First aid is vital to the survival of our species. Our guest, 7Song, herbalist at the Ithaca Free Clinic and education specialist at the Northeast School of Botanical Medicine has been leading the way in the herbal first aid movement. Although herbalists have been first responders in emergency situations since civilization begun, the newest resurgence in herbalists serving side by side with EMTs in large scale festival first aid tents has largely been due to 7Song's work. He has published protocols for public consumption on herbal first aid and the results are revolutionary.
