In the 1990s, the Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh, PA was in a state of transition. Some neighborhood properties were purchased and renovated to be flipped for profit while others were purchased and fixed up to be lived in. On one particularly trendy Oakland street, a neighborly dispute over these renovations(or a lack thereof) turned deadly.
