Final Failing Reading: https://youtu.be/0Re-igkw5Hw
How much judgment should a teacher show, and how much should they just stick to the letter of the law, the rules? Are there ever extenuating circumstances for a student who fails a test? Is the purpose of a teacher to help a student grow and socialize and develop into a better person, or is it to teach them and evaluate their learning - or a combination of both? All of these questions and more come into play in this post from a teacher who FAILED a student on the VERY LAST day of school! What do you think? How would YOU vote?
