Today I talk about the “emotional guidance scale” and how if we identify how we are feeling we can make the choice in the next moment to move ever so slightly up the emotional scale. This gives a very solid, accessible and practical breakdown of how we can climb the emotional ladder from despair/fear/shame/hopelessness.... rung by rung to feelings of joy, peace and empowerment. We can also give ourselves grace for whatever state we find ourselves in, and gently and kindly introduce other options. This REALLY WORKS.
