Melissa Magsaysay Loves Quadrophenia/Food TV/Mark Bradford
Do you like to experience old friends reuniting to shoot the shit about some amazing art? You DO?! Then I've got quite the episode for you! I spoke to style and beauty writer, creative consultant and, most importantly, my pal Melissa Magsaysay about her love for for the 1979 film Quadrophenia, which was loosely based on The Who’s album of the same name, tv cooking shows (as a whole, but don’t worry, we get into specifics) and artist Mark Bradford, who is known for creating grid-like paintings combining collage with paint, among other work. And I also talk about my theory that everything is connected to art and I give you a truckload of art recommendations. Woo hoo!!
