I went through my childhood in a very strict, fear-based religious household and was told the spirits I was seeing were demons or that I had “too big” of an imagination. I grew up terrified. I tried to ignore the spirits/entities/aliens and make excuses for what I was seeing, hearing and dreaming but they just kept coming. Going into adulthood I could no longer ignore them. I decided to accept them as part of my life but rarely spoke of them to friends and family for fear they would think I was crazy. Although, I could see and hear them I didn’t realize I could communicate with them.
