How to Stop Stuttering by Using a Daily Routine
- Hello, how are you, this is Michael Williams and in today's session we're going to be talking about how to stop stuttering by using a daily routine, a daily protocol. Now, let's talk about why it's so important to have a daily routine or daily protocol. It's important because what you're doing, now watch this, watch this, what you're doing is you are literally rewiring or retraining your brain. You are either establishing new neural connections, new neural pathways, or you're strengthening neural pathways, right? So everything that you and I do, everything that we say, everything we think can be reflected in the neurology of our brain, right? In pathways and connections and how those connections fire, right? Cells that fire together wire together, okay? So there's these little electronic charges and signals that are going back and forth in our brains. That's happening in my brain right now as I'm speaking. Those cells are firing that's allowing me to move and to speak and to think, everything that we do is represented in this way. So what you're going to want to do and what you're gonna want to understand is that you need a daily routine or daily protocol that will help you rewire or retrain your brain. Now let's go a little deeper into this. When you're focused on developing new speaking patterns and new thinking patterns, what you're actually doing is you're learning new skills. You're creating new patterns or new habits. And in order to learn a new skill like you're learning to play an instrument, you're learning to speak another language, right? You have to do what? You have to practice it, you have to repeat it. First you have to have a target, that is, you have to have something that you're practicing, something that you're repeating. So if it's a new language, then you have to learn the vocabulary, you have to learn the rhythm, the cadence of that language, you have to learn the grammar, right, to learn this style of speaking. You learn it, then you repeat it, you practice it. You practice it by yourself, you practice it in real life with other people, right, repetition. And when you're doing all those things, what's actually happening is your brain is creating a new neural network, new neural pathways, and strengthening those pathways. It's myelinating, that is, it's insulating those pathways the more you repeat that same behavior over and over. So, this daily routine is actually helping you create the new pathways, the new wiring, and it's helping you strengthen or insulate or myelinate the new wiring, the new habit, the new pattern, okay? So it's very important to have a daily routine. So one of the problems that many people have is they don't have a daily protocol, a daily routine, in overcoming stuttering or in replacing their stuttering or creating new thinking patterns, right? They don't have a daily routine. The PRO90 Speech System gives you a daily protocol. It says, think this, listen to this, watch this, practice this, do this every single day, and it tells you, and then it gives you the things to watch, it gives you the things to practice, it gives you the things to do, okay? So that's one of the major benefits of the PRO90D Speech System is it gives you this daily routine. So, if you've been struggling using this system or any other system, or any other kind of treatment, a part of the reason might be because you don't have a daily protocol that works. And, if you have the daily protocol, have you been following it long enough to make those changes in your brain? When you begin to approach your speech, stuttering, stammering, speaking too fast, from this perspective, again, it empowers you because all you have to do is you have to believe that this is going to work, you have to be persistent, you have to be perseverant, and you have to stick with that daily routine, that daily protocol. I want to invite you to take a look at the PRO90D Speech System, the mobile self-study, and we'll give you a link, where we will give you the daily protocol that you need to rewire, to change your brain. Thank you so much, this is Michael Williams and I'll see you in the next session.
