Hey nerds. Sorry for the late release on this one. Holiday rush defeated me. But don't worry, this week's guest was worth the wait!
I am joined by the mighty Kazeem Rahman! He is hilarious, ambitious, likable, and Muslim. We talk about his start in comedy with writing spec scripts for TV that he then tried to submit to agencies in LA via cold-calling. He tells us about his transition to standup. We discuss some of his thoughts on performing and writing. He describes a bit of what it is like to be Muslim. And we talk about some of the comedy specials we love and love to hate on Netflix. Such a fun and full episode.
You can find him all over LA in real life. He is @kazeemcomedy on the Gram. Check out his podcast, Tough Choice, where he talks to a comedian and presents them with a series of would-you-rathers that spark some of the most unreal conversations you will ever hear.
