Nick Wuthrich was one of my first comedy friends. He and I met at the Burbank Comedy Festival where I was volunteering and he was hosting and performing in shows at the LA Connection Theater.
He and his significant other significantly better-half significant partner is Katie Dembesky. She joins Nick and me for this fantastic episode. They both produce Gigglebash, which is a fantastic comedy show that takes place at the ACME Comedy Theater in NoHo every single Thursday at 7:30 PM.
We talk about his beginnings in comedy in Austin, Texas; his job at Flappers Comedy Club and Restaurant in Burbank, California; how and why we both got out of the legal world; his current endeavors in comedy and religion; and how he is a eunuch (yeah).
He is hilarious and lovable...which is kind of an unfair combination. He can also sing and dance, all of which makes him a quadruple threat.
