Maritess Zurbano is the only Filipino-American magician in history. She performs and lectures on magic around the world. Her prose has won awards and grants including a Hedgebrook Residency. Her performances, plays, and prose details how she became a Las Vegas magician in a male-dominated field. These works have been produced in NYC theater festivals and across the country.
