About three years ago, Billy Ivey started sharing the notes that he was leaving in his kids lunch boxes online. His posts started going viral which he didn’t fully understand why. As a writer and advertiser, he had spent over twenty years studying how to tell stories and make an impact….but notes on napkins? What were people drawn to?
It all began to make sense however when his wife pointed out that people were not drawn to his notes because of what they SAID, they were drawn to the fact that he was actually writing them for his kids. In today’s episode we talk about not underestimating your own potential, the importance of you sharing your story (no matter how seemingly insignificant), and why making an impact is not as difficult as we make it out to be.
