057: Recovery Through Art- Kym Stine

Welcome to A BATTLE WITHIN, Episode 057, 

Today on A BATTLE WITHIN, Terry and Drew hear from artist Kym Stine.

Similar in nature to previous guest Martha Hoezler, Kym is someone who experienced a Traumatic Brain Injury and she too is now using her craft to try to help others in their recovery process. - through her art.

Kym is a painter and has been actively exhibiting her work in the Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia areas over the last few years. If you don't live in these areas don't fret it. She also has a book called The Scrambled Brain available and a webpage to check some of it out on. 

Throughout the conversation you will pick up on the fact that she really started making headway in her recovery after the 2 year mark. So if you are struggling hopefully this will give you some encouragement.

Also you love really get a feel of Kym's love for art and how it how it has helped her along the way.
