Ep66: Rebecca, Rocky & Ruby - Hospital Birth with Interventions, Homebirth, Surrogacy
In Episode 66 of Kiwi Birth Tales I speak with Rebecca Keil who shares her 2 birth stories and her current pregnancy where she is a surrogate for a lovely NZ based couple.
Rebecca takes us through her first pregnancy and birth as a 22 year old, which ended with an episiotomy to help Rocky along. She shares her feelings of vulnerability in hospital and her recovery from birth as well as her breastfeeding journey. Her feelings around birthing in hospital is what lead her to her decision to have a Homebirth with Ruby and she then shares this lovely experience with us.
Rebecca touches on her surrogacy journey at the end of the episode which I am sure lots of us are following on Instagram - we will keep up to date on the podcast with their journey.
