Revelation [Session 15]

I kind of feel like Kevin in Home Alone 2 when he gets “Lost in New York.” You know that part of the movie where he’s out on the streets in Manhattan in the middle of the night with all of the drunks, prostitutes and crazies until he gets so freaked out he flags down a cab, hops in and says, “Boy, it’s scary out there!” The cabbie turns around—looking like Igor out of a horror movie—and says, “Ain’t much better in here, kid!”

With everything that’s going on in the world, I think we’ve all been saying, “Boy, it’s scary out there!” It makes you wanna make a beeline for a safe haven within Christianity—but with all the craziness going on right now in the name of “Jesus,” I feel like I’m looking at that same cabdriver right now and hearing him say, “Ain’t much better in here, kid!” These are, indeed, “perilous times!” (2 Timothy 3:1)

In this session I’ll be talking about some of the craziness that a lot of well-meaning Christians are getting sucked into right now.
