In today’s episode, I speak to Dr. Meenal Viz to her about her life and experience as someone in the diaspora who trained to be a medical doctor. Meenal talks about her experience of discovering her family roots and what that meant for her as a person from the South Asian diaspora, navigating her way through multiple identities.
Meenal also hosts her own podcast, “Meenal’s world,” where she spends time speaking about her thoughts and her experiences of life as a Medical Doctor. Please take some time out and listen and subscribe to her podcast if you can. We’ll leave the link to her show in the notes.
At the moment, Meenal is on the frontline as a Doctor in the NHS, and she’s part of the massive effort to fight against the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, and we wish her all the best in this fight.
