Photography Insights - important industry interviews by Phlogger
Arts:Visual Arts
As you already know I'm starting this series of interviews to document what is going on with this pandemic. We are featuring an array of people from different places in the world, so we get an even picture of what is happening.
Today's guest is Ashley Hoff, another nice guy I met on Instagram and lives in Adelaide, Australia. Ashley's work caught my eye as he uses analogue technology (medium format and tin types etc) to capture images of old cars. He appeared on the show podcast on episode 20, back in 2018, but unfortunately, I had issues with the technology at the time.
Ashley works in technology supporting the finance industry in Australia and has worked at home for 4 weeks now. So listen to see how life is on the other side of the world.
In this one we discuss
state by state decisions tin type experiments cruise ship border closes travel & tourism future health care space + garden footprints schools + grades beaches & socialising shopping, supplies + panic buyingMy favourite line from the chat was - "my kingdom for a roll of toilet paper"
Covid figures
As of 12 April there are 6,300 cases and have been 59 deaths in Australia
