S2 Ep. 10: Walking 10,000 Miles to End Child Sexual Abuse
As survivors of childhood sexual abuse we can often feel powerless. Our experiences can lead us to believe that the world is dark place and there’s nothing we can do to change it. My uncle once told me not to tell anyone, so I later decided I was going to tell 500 million people. By walking 10,000 miles to every capital city in the European Union, I was broadcast to millions across my continent and beyond, spoke to governments and parliaments, the United Nations and a personal audience with Pope Francis. Walking 30 miles each day, every step for a child, I transform my life from victim to activist and saw my childhood experiences become the fuel that drove the changes that will soon be impacting lives globally.
The listener will learn:
•You have the power to change your life.
•You have the power to change the world.
