Episode Summary
When you hear the word “theology”, what pops into your mind? Theology is a perspective, framework, or worldview that helps you interpret life more accurately. Theology organizes important Biblical truth in a way that helps you and I better understand God, His work, His will, and His ways.
Kitchen Table Theology is the culmination of a hope and dream of mine for a long time. It has been my hope to better equip the body of Christ to know God and make Him known. This podcast gives me a way to share these things with you.
I have observed a steady decline in bible literacy, not only among those in our churches, but even in those entering ministry. There seems to be an erosion of Biblical knowledge, doctrine, and theology among God’s people.
Christianity Today magazine article summarized a study of the state of American theology and entitled the results: “Christian, what do you believe? Probably, A Heresy About Jesus”.
The goal of Kitchen Table Theology is to systematically discover what the Scriptures teaches regarding topics such as the Bible, the Trinity, the end times, the doctrines of sin, heaven, hell, salvation, the church, and much more. The real power of theology is not only knowing it, but applying it.
