Drs Caryn Zinn, Mikki Williden, and Dan Plews - The Carb-Appropriate Podcast Ep.22
In this episode of the podcast, I chat with my colleagues, Drs Mikki Williden, Caryn Zinn, and Dan Plews about whether low-carbohydrate diets negatively impact hormone balance.
It's commonly assumed that people (especially women) 'need' a certain amount of carbohydrate in the diet in order to preserve hormone levels and function. But the evidence suggests otherwise.
One of my articles spurred this conversation (Do Low-Carb Diets Negatively Affect Hormone Balance?) and it ended up being a great summary of the things that you should actually be focussed on. (Hint: carb content of the diet isn't usually one!)
