Ep72: Jazmyne & Saachi - Posterior Homebirth, Episiotomy, Cordbank, Breastfeeding Struggles

I’m so excited to be partnering with Elevit and Menevit to bring you this week’s episode. In episode 72 of Kiwi Birth Tales I speak with Jazmyne about the birth of her daughter Saachi. Jazmyne takes us through their surprise pregnancy, morning sickness, migraines and what she did to relieve some of her symptoms. 

She then takes us through the decision to birth in Nelson at her parents house, her 5 hour labour with posterior Saachi, an episiotomy at home and birth. Jazmyne decided to go with Cordbanking the blood of the umbilical cord and talks us through that decision, into her recovery and breastfeeding journey which was difficult from the beginning. 

Jazmyne has a lovely story to share with us and I am so grateful she was willing to join me on the podcast.
