Roy Williams - The Australian Scene (Religious Liberty Part 2a)
Christians Engaging Culture is currently in a module on religious liberty. This week we look at the history of religious liberty in Australia and the structure of religious liberty as a whole. In our podcast we will listen to an interview between Gerard O'Brien and Roy Williams. Roy has decades of experience in the legal profession and now lectures in law at the University of Sydney. He is a member of our 5pm congregation at St Thomas' and has kindly lent his expertise to this project. If you go to our website at cec.st-thomas.org.au, you will find an excellent essay by Roy on religious liberty in Australia. You will also find other helpful resources from the Centre for Christian Living and Freedom for Faith. You can find these articles and more at our website.
Christians Engaging Culture exists to equip the members of St Thomas’ to give faithful answers in everyday cultural conversations and to turn those conversations to the gospel.
The aim of this podcast is to start conversations around our church community, so please encourage everyone at church to subscribe (and show them how to!) and when you see people, ask them what they thought of this week's episode.
You can find the Christians Engaging Culture website here.
If you are not a member of St Thomas', we invite you to look at the 'About Us' page of our website here.
