James "Big Jaye" Nelson and Shawn "Swift Andre" Johnson join Scott this week to remember their time working for the Architect of Rock n' Roll, Little Richard.
Jaye & Swift, originally from Knoxville, took their talents to Hollywood in 1990. During a walk down Sunset Boulevard, as if by fate, the pair met Little Richard. What started as a request for an autograph turned into 16 years of touring the world performing some of the most iconic songs in music history.
In this discussion Jaye and Swift share some amazing stories of their time working with Little Richard. From sightings of other celebrities such as Gene Simmons, Bob Dylan, and more to the impact that Little Richard had on the pair with his life advice and direction, this is a heartfelt conversation that helps cements the legacy of this great man we recently lost.
