JOHN CHOQUE is Touching People For Heaven
Religion & Spirituality:Christianity
Greetings!
Did you know that there are 14 places in just the Book of Luke that talks about prayer? Fourteen places! Yea, I just now looked it up! I picked this title, or probably the truth is, the Holy Spirit showed me the title, of today's discourse, oh well... God is good! We always need to be in the process of learning... we'll never learn it all! Learning is good for our mind, good for our spirit, and good for our body! That sounds about right... learning keeps a lot of bad things away from us. I'm only referring to good things to learn, not bad things to learn. Okay?
In today's school work there were 86 verses to study, and throughout these verses, I kept seeing some very powerful lessons that we all can learn. But as I kept going through the school work the thought kept coming to me that, if we could just pray effectively, then everything else in here would fall into place, and we could be doing everything that Jesus said to do. So, learning to pray the right way is the way to go! Amen?
There are thirteen verses in the context of our single verse of Luke 11:1. They go from Luke 11:1 through Luke 11:13 Right up front I'll tell you that the punch line is the last verse! Sort of makes sense, since Jesus said, the first shall be last and the last shall be first... Matthew 19:30 (KJV) But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

Let me ask you a question... if you died tonight, do you have the assurance in your heart, that you would go to heaven?
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved."
—Acts 2:21 (KJV).
This is the most important decision of your life. You receive eternal life by receiving Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Lord.
