066: Slightly Active with Lacey Fuller

Hello Warriors! 

Welcome to A BATTLE WITHIN, Episode 066, 

Today on A BATTLE WITHIN, we get to be hear from Lacey Fuller. Lacey is a national champion volleyball player who went on to play in professional ranks. Lacey suffered a concussion in August 2019 while playing on the beaches and still hasn't made it back yet, but is working diligently to get back on the courts soon.

As she works through the process, Lacey has gone about documenting her journey on Instagram @SlightlyActive. In an effort to aid others during their healing process. In doing so, she finds out that this is also very important to her.

Lacey's journey includes having to understand that healing is not a linear process, a new sense of anxiety, a lost identity and the need to find gratitude despite the tough times.
