Faye McLeod on being LVMH's Visual Image Director
In episode 16, hosts Sharleen Spiteri and Karina Givargisoff talk with Glasgow-born Faye McLeod, the Visual Image Director at LVMH. With a degree in fashion design from Glasgow Clyde College, McLeod started her career working in both window and set design for the likes of Selfridges and Topshop. In 2009 she became the Creative Director of Visual Merchandising for Louis Vuitton and later advanced to her current role in 2012. Her job includes dreaming up striking window displays for Louis Vuitton’s global storefronts.
Tune in for a discussion on creative freedom, cultural diversity, and childhood influences, as Faye tells us about her maximalist tendencies, her dream collaboration with NASA, and the significance of the shop window as a democratic, underappreciated art space.
