6/1: Protests over police brutality against black people reach all 50 states. Former AG Loretta Lynch reacts to policing tactics.
Protests calling for an end to police brutality against black people are spreading across the country. President Trump is calling for a crackdown on protesters, and he's slamming local leaders for not being tough enough. An independent autopsy requested by George Floyd's family will be released today, according to the family's attorney. The Minneapolis Police Department has been criticized many times for alleged racial bias and misconduct by its officers. It was investigated by the Justice Department in 2015, the year that Loretta Lynch became President Obama's attorney general. Lynch joins "CBS This Morning" and says the video of Floyd being held down by an officer with his knee on Floyd's neck shows an "abject failure of police culture."
