Ep80: Heather, Alex & Lucy - Subchorionic Bleeding, Induction, Emergency CSection, Miscarriage, VBAC, Co-Sleeping
In episode 80 I speak with Heather about her two birth stories - Heather takes us through her pregnancy where she experienced Subchorionic Bleeding, Induction at 37 weeks, Hand Presentation, Emergency CSection and subsequently low blood sugars. Heather then talks through their postpartum period where she shares their journey with a Supplementary Nursing System and Breastfeeding.
Heather then talks through her loss as she fell pregnant but unfortunately had a miscarriage in the first trimester. Heather talks through the devastation for their family and how this impacted her anxiety in pregnancy when they conceived Lucy.
Lucys pregnancy was the opposite to Alexs with no complications and Heather had a successful VBAC at 40+5 with a quick active labour and 6 pushes. She talks through her incredibly healing experience, their breastfeeding journey and decision to co-sleep.
